B i o g r a p h y
Paulina Pei-Yin Wu was born in Taipei, Taiwan. She began learning the piano with her mother at the age of four and the violin at the age of seven. She won the New Taipei Municipal High School Concerto Competition in 2012 and made her first solo debut with the orchestra, playing the Mozart Violin concerto No.3 at the age of 17.
She has performed with New Music Ensemble Orchestra of National Taiwan Normal University as a soloist under Gordon Chin, playing Tchaikovsky, Mozart Violin Concertos and Contemporary solo piece.
In 2015, She formed an orchestra in her recital, playing Mozart Violin Concerto as a conducting soloist. She also had several recitals, chamber music and contemporary music concerts.
Pei-Yin received her Bachelor of Music Degree in 2018 with Prof. Chia-Hong Liao at National Taiwan Normal University.
She received her Master of Music Degree in 2020 with Keng-Yuen Tseng at the Peabody Conservatory of the Johns Hopkins University
Paulina Pei-Yin had several studies and performances in the music festival and academy of Austria, including Salzburg Sommerakademie Mozarteum and Festal Musikschule Grossaming .
Paulina Pei-Yin was a faculty of the Music Tree School of Music in Richmond, Virginia from 2020-2021. She started her own studio in 2021 and teaches both zoom and in person lessons.
